The story of Jonah is one of the most remarkable narratives in the Bible, illustrating God’s unwavering purpose and boundless mercy. Though short, the Book of Jonah carries profound lessons about obedience, repentance, and God’s compassionate love for all people. God’s purpose for Jonah was clear from the very beginning.
